Yammer is a powerful communication tool that allows people across large organizations to get connected to each other.
At Yammer I work closely with PMs, parnter teams, engineers, UX Designers, UX Researchers and copywriters to ship designs that align with Yammer's business goals and users' needs.
Yammer got rebranded to Viva Engage in 2023.

Under a very short timeline, I was able to design Bookmarks on Yammer. Bookmarks was a highly requested feature from our current users. In addition, it was the barrier to convert the remaining users on our legacy client.
While designing for Bookmarks, I found a gap in the design system and proposed we create a new component which would be useful for not only the Bookmarks feature, but also any other upcoming features that need feedback to the users that the action has been taken. I proposed that we implement a Toast message into Yammer's design system. Working closely with the Design systems designer we were able to make this happen.
Working closely with the PM I was able to create the right flows needed for this feature to be shipped as soon as possible. I presented the high fidelity mock ups of the Bookmarks feature to the web and mobile (iOS & Android) engineering teams to better convey the designs and answer any questions that they might have.
